Video shows the moment Air Force Two with Vice President Mike Pence on board strikes a bird while taking off
Air Force Two with US Vice President, Mike Pence on board was forced into an emergency landing on Tuesday night, September 22. 

The plane was forced to return to a New Hampshire airport shortly after taking off for Washington D.C. after striking a bird when it flew into one of the engines. 

The incident was caught in a video. 



Officials with Manchester-Boston Regional Airport said in a statement: " Air Force 2 experienced a possible bird strike shortly after departure. Flight crew contacted the tower and returned to MHT safely."

The vice president and his staff ended up flying to Washington D.C on a cargo aircraft that the Secret Service uses to transport his vehicles during his travel.
